Let me Fall

The soul that waits
eager to present
the wave of love
to the one who's deserved!!

The Guardian of Dogs

Scribbles from Rakesh Shanmugam

Few situations and happenings are always rememberable and it impacts us in a positive way. Those experiences change a person partially/completely, the way he views life. Like "A Hungry Stomach and Empty Pocket" some happenings make you learn the life. That day, there happened an incident which impacted my life.

It was, as usual, a pleasant morning. But something was different. I just woke up wondering where I am. Oh, I was in my cousin's room in Chennai. This was my second time visiting Chennai, after my Anna University counsellings. This time I came here to attend a workshop. My cousin told me - it's 6.40 now.

Err., It's getting late. Few mins let me get ready. I took a quick shower and found my way out dressed in a short span of time, around 20 mins. The session starts around 9.30 a.m. But my cousin has a different plan and he mentioned a travel for about an hour. We took breakfast on the way at a hotel. He dropped me in Tharamani in front of the spot where I wanted to go. I viewed my watch, long hand striking at 8 while small hand moves past 8. I was too early there!!

I thought of waiting for my juniors to join me instead moving in. So I found a small corner on the side road to rest and started surfing the internet. As it was Sunday, I just saw two or three vehicles passed by. After few minutes, I saw an auto stopped near me around 10 meters gap.  The auto driver parked his vehicle nearby and got busy with his phone.

A lady dropped out from the auto. She had tangled hair and a normal attire. I can't go through her face clearly. But I assume she is one of the most beautiful souls in the world. She carried two bowl-like plates and a big carry bag. She moved near an empty space at the road corner and unpacked the items in the carry bag.

She kept the plates on the ground and started pouring milk on both. The street dogs around came near her and started having their breakfast. There were around 7 to 8 dogs and she fed all. As soon as they gathered, she unpacked a few packs of rusks from that carry bag and started distributing them to. She also poured some water after the milk vanished from the plates. Among those people, who see street dogs with fear and as enemies, she was very different. She caressed them and fed them.

From their condition, I can say, those dogs won't get food properly, maybe a one-time meal per day. But that day, they were blessed to have a great breakfast because of her. I saw the happiness and love she showed towards those dogs.

Then she carried on her journey from the same auto. That big carry bag had some more stuff inside. I am sure she was going to another place where these kinds of dogs are left uncared.

Life has many things to teach. The people around you teach you everything. Your environment makes you grow what you are. My mother has said once, "don't show grace to unknown people these days. they may cheat you". But I don't think so!!

She, her kindness towards animals made that day. Yes, she is the Guardian of Dogs. An unforgettable incident in my life, that made me think. May God bless her :)

(I wanted to go and talk to her that day, but I don't want to interrupt her. So I took a photo of her for my memory. Whenever I see, few thoughts plunge into my head about humanism and charity. Here is that pic for you. If you know her/came to meet her do say thanks in regards to me)

Way you are bound to drown

Rakesh Shanmugam

There is a common myth among students. I thought it's just familiar to students. But this is a myth which has wide spread among many people of different categories. Even educated also have been a prey to this. Yes! This is almost familiar with everyone!!

"ENGINEERING"

This is not the thing which everyone falls for but for the lie that after completing engineering, students are almost going to be unemployed or they are going to work on non-core. Do you believe this? As an engineer, I thought it's time to break this myth with those unspoken truths.

Being graduated as a mechanical engineer, I was found lucky to have the dream job of me - Design Engineer at a reputable organization. But the real truth is I am also the one who certainly fell to those myths in my final year of college. The self-belief and motivation I had at my initial days have been ruled out and destroyed by the energies of people around me. I started believing it's hard to find the right job. But that's not true. As soon as I came out of that cat race among those, I started analyzing what destroyed my belief, what made me get my dream job and what hinders others from that.

Still, I can see many of my friends, close friends searching for a job everywhere, site to site, person to person, whatever and wherever they see. Even though they attend interviews they are casually rejected. Why this is so?

Do engineering lost its scope? Whether the world needs no more engineers? Is engineering a piece of shit? Err., No!.

To be true, Engineers are not those people, who join engineering and get that degree after 4 years. Engineers are those who with passion and love for knowledge to create, invent and modify things for the betterment of others. Yes, the interest and knowledge they possess make them the good engineers.

In the current scenario, the number of colleges and the students at engineering has raised, but the quality has not. We are moving towards marks instead of knowledge. Most of the colleges are preferably concentrating students to get high marks and pass percentages instead of measuring what knowledge they acquired. In many institutes, the quality of teaching is also very poor.

So, this engineering is currently a place of garbages, a stinky one. But there are also mines in those garbages. They have laid a way to follow. But it's not mandatory that you should approach the education in the same way they approach.

It depends on you, whether you move out with mines from those garbages or just get off from those stinky ones or fall permanently in those garbages. Every year there is a minimum of 70% placements at IIT's and the students placed has a minimum salary package of 6 L.P.A.  If they can, why not we? We are blessed with the same commonly. It only depends on your hard work.

So wake up. Don't blame engineering. Don't drown by the way they bound. Be passionate to learn, explore and innovate. Get up, ask, read and understand. Your mines are in your hands. All the best.

- By an Optimistic Engineer!!!

Falling in Love

There is a greater conspiracy on this words.. "Falling in Love". So, have you ever fell in love?
Few say no and some say yes and even few say loads of things blah, blah, blah.... So the answers change from person to person.
So have I ever fell in love? This is a simple question and yes I did.

Firstly and deeply I fell in love with my parents as soon as I born.
Secondly but unknowingly I again fell in love with my sister. She's a hard one at knocking down.
Hardly I fell in love with few of my relations, neighbour and colleagues.
As I grew I fell in love with nature followed by music.
In between, I just tasted the love of food and smile of a child.
Now, I think it's time for the search of love for passion before the hunt for my best last name starts..
And this list goes on until its time for me to end my chapter!!
~Fell in Love~

What I have learned in 20 years?

Life is a precious thing. We learn many things throughout our life. Sometimes we forget some sometimes we forget most. But experiences are the one we carry with us till we end. It's mandatory that we must look back in our life. This gives you the best of you as well as the worst part of you. I thought I must figure out what all the things I have learned so for in my 20 years of life. So let me start queueing it as per my the sequence in my mind.

Always Smile
The smile is one of the best things which delivers best of you from your inside. From my childhood, I have learned this through people and the experience by them as well as by me. Put up a smile on your face always. It also lightens the other who see you. The smile has the greatest power of making the day very best for all. So don't forget to have a smile on your face.
Don't Steal
This is one of the most important things in my life which I learned at my age of 7. I have a bad habit of losing my pencil at school. One day I lost my new Natraj pencil, and I was at fear to face my dad. So I took three rupees from the pooja room kept near vinayagar and brought a new pencil. But these parents have a super power of reading the child mind from their face and my father is extraordinary at that. Suddenly he asked me and found I am guilty. That's the breaking point in my life. From then I left the habit of stealing. Even if I saw any thing around at anywhere I always don't touch it except coins from the ground (got lucky coins for about seven times but no notes till now).
Believe in "changes are for good"
This is one of the first lessons I learned when I entered in my college. The transition to college from school, Home to the hostel, etc., made me think and experience a lot. I personally suggest everyone of you to stay in hostel at least for a year. This will give you lot of experiences.
Keep up to your words
This thing goes both ways for me. Always stick to your words. If you say a thing, then you should be relying on as per that. The next thing doesn't blabber. Sometimes I do that. If you say I will do this, then you must do that without any excuses. That's vital.
Money matters!!
This is the important lesson the world has thought me. Yes, the most of the people rely on money than the relationship. I have a personal experience on that, and I am still experiencing that. Believe me, till these years I found my friends are the only ones who don't care you about money. But many relations rely on you only if you have money.
Be Respectful to all
I didn't know when I learned this thing, but all the credit goes to my nursery teachers and my parents. I always respect each and everyone. Even if it's a child, you have to respect them. Being respect many times comes in handy to solve and do many things, and I have an experience of it.  And value every person in your life from your past and present. I thank everyone for making me the person I am today. So always be respectful to all  :-)
Humanity
This is one of the things the people and the environment around taught me.  The people surrounded me are truly the best. Hence I am proud to say that I am in as a better human. And I am also ready to say proudly
"Humanity is my religion and people who believe in it are my friends"
Friends - Precious gifts
Friends are very precious gifts awarded by the god for us. Learn to appreciate and accept them as they are. Love them and respect them. They are great souls. They are the only souls in the world who listens to all your anger, happiness, bullshits and say you back the same.
Accept new challenges
Always in a mood of accepting challenges. Every challenge in your life helps you to view your life in a different perspective and makes you grow even stronger.
Don't ever say No to Challenges
Always post up a Yes and I am sure you will end up in a great position of accepting everything.
Criticism helps to improve
I have learned that really criticism helps us to learn and grow from our mistakes. Sometimes you face mockeries and criticism overloaded. Please don't exhaust. Collect best points which really points out your flaw. Then learn from those. This will make the best of us..
Keep Dreaming
This is one of the things I always want to say to everyone. I love to dream, and I usually do it fine. This life lesson has made me start all these, and this dream is a reason why I wrote this post. Everything from me is mostly because of this
These are few things which I always have in my mind. I say it as the best lessons for me in the life. If you have any new findings of your own, comment below. I would like to listen to your experiences which shaped you as the beautiful person you are today.
Love all :-)

Ticking off the Bucket List

Rakesh Shanmugam Bucket list

In this world, everyone likes to dream. Everyone will have some dreams of their own. Some people run towards it and some won't. It depends. But everyone has a bucket list of their own which they wanted to achieve before their end. I too have one. I have several dreams and some focused one. This is one so.. Since 2013, after I took Mechanical Engineering, this one added to my bucket list. I don't know how and why, but, I got the passion for blogging. I wanted to explore, share and create an own space for me to opt out my thoughts. I started to secure a place for me on social media. First, I started it as it was a trend. But then it turned into professionalism for me. I utilized the space to comment my own thoughts on the world. I didn't care who respect or not. But I wanted to do that.
Chase your dreams no matter what
As proceeding to another step towards that and to fulfil those dreams I started with my blog spot blog - www.scribblestoyou.blogspot.com. :-) Gradually self-learning helped me to grow my visitors from zero to 15+. Then I worked on a tech blog exploring some computer tricks since I thought that was a hot topic and many people will visit it. Then I tried the new place, WordPress. Then I easily get used to it and liked the platform. But my idea of blogging didn't satisfy or stopped there. From that time I wanted to start a website for my own. To be true, this is not my first website. This is my third one. Literally its 2nd. I practised my blogging lessons on a site and saw my success with my eyes. I want to thank Mr.Neeraj Sinha for that.
HUMANISM is the best religion to follow
So, today I have reached here. My own website solely for me to explore myself and to share my thoughts with the world. Today I am ticking off a thing from my bucket list. So today, in my special day I wanted to thank everyone, my parents, friends, brothers and sisters for all their words and blessings.
I have opacus thoughts queued in. I don't know whether I write many things or some best ones here. But I assure I will give some good ones here on "Interesting Info". Subscribe to my blog and get my thought updates in your mail.

Let May Blossoms

Let May Blossoms

Hello Everyone, It's been months I have written. As I grow up I was introduced to various information's  every day. Yet I wanted myself to be updated on various fields. So today I just came this corner to write something which clutters in my mind.

Today May 1st. Do you know what's special today? Yep, I have a list. Really I was feeling glad to know some info on this day. The only thing I know about this day is its "Workers Day" (Ulaipalar Dinam). But when I opened the social accounts what I knocked was Mr.Ajith, actor birthday. I am sad myself as many people don't share the info about Swami Vivekananda and Ulaipalar Dinam.

You see today was the day where Ramakrishna Mission established. In Tamilnadu, this is a day we contribute our thanks to all the workers, especially to farmers. Today Anupama Gokhale, the first women in the history of Indian chess to win an All-India level International Tournament. Today is Gujarat Glory day and Maharastrasha divas as well. So I think this day has a hell lot to share including your interests.

And personally, today is one of the memorable days for me as I pitched my important place for online reputation.

So that's all my clutters currently. Well, I join with you all on my next post which is going to be a stimulating one :-)
